NAHCON Chairman Leads Delegation to Hira Cave Museum

As part of activities marking the successful completion of the 2025 Hajj exercise, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Professor Abdullahi Saleh Usman, led a high-level delegation to the Hira Cave Museum and Exhibition Centre in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
The visit included active participation from NAHCON’s Commissioners in charge of Operations, PRSILS, and PPMF, as well as the Secretary to the Commission, the Deputy Makkah Coordinator, and executives from various State Muslim Pilgrims’ Welfare Boards, Agencies, and Commissions.

The delegation toured various sections of the Hira Cave Cultural Centre, which chronicles the lives and messages of major Islamic prophets including Adam (AS), Nuh (AS), Ibrahim (AS) – Khalilullah, Musa (AS) – Kalimullah, Isa (AS) – Ruhullah, and the final Messenger, Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
Also present were NAHCON's Deputy and Assistant Directors leading key operational committees, the Head of the National Media Team, the Saudi Liaison Officer, the Masar Nusuk Officer, and several other NAHCON staff who formed part of the official delegation.

The visit highlights NAHCON’s ongoing efforts to enrich the cultural, spiritual, historical, and educational dimensions of Hajj for Nigerian pilgrims. It also aligns with the broader objectives of enhancing Nigeria’s role in the evolving Hajj ecosystem and supporting the Saudi Vision 2030 pilgrimage transformation agenda.
